I first saw this dance company when I was a teenager and have been a strong supporter ever since.

Not only are they elite professionals of movement, their contemporary style and innovation is a brilliant contrast to my other love - ballet.

To celebrate turning 100 this year, they're on tour this Summer at various locations throughout the UK.

Nationwide venues

Most have heard of 'Ronnie Scotts', but in my humble opinion, this underground venue is arguably better. I actually waitressed here for a few months when I was a student and at the time, had no concept of the calibre of musician that I would often have a post show drink with. My friend Vaz would say, 'do you know who you were just talking to?' and I would always reply 'Nope, not a clue'. 

All I did know was they were all mega talented, humble and up for a beer. And that was good enough for me.
