Home is where the art is.

Recommendations for all my fellow art lovers.

One of my favourite things to do is potter around a craft market, art exhibition or discover a new gallery. Artists are just the best.

What do I recommend this month? Check out my current pick below...

The Wildlife Photographer of the Year

17th October 2025 - 12th July 2026.

I so look forward to my annual pilgrimage to this stunning exhibition.

Set within the walls of Kensington's iconic Natural History Museum, the room is plunged into darkness, with the chosen photographs blown up and lit up, showcasing the detail and colours beautifully.

There are various categories from around the world and anyone with a camera can enter. I often smile when I adore a picture, and find out an 11 year child has taken it. The moments the photographers capture are so impressive, and the whole thing gives off the same feelings as a David Attenborough documentary.

Perfect for a date, catch up with a loved or a solo trip. It's truly the most wholesome day out.

Where is it?

The nearest tube is South Kensington (5 minute walk away) and that area has heaps of places to eat and drink too, so you can really make a day of it.

The RSA Summer Exhibition

Fun Fact - It's been held every year without interruption since 1769!

This is one of my all time favourite exhibitions. Block out half a day as you'll need plenty of time to soak up the many rooms and floors of this amazing collection of artwork people have submitted, which you can also buy too.

It's really not one to miss and I can't wait for the 2026 show already!

Me and my lovely friend Meg have just been and it's our favourite one yet.

(ps, book yourself into The Wolseley for lunch or dinner afterwards, or I highly recommend the food hall in Fortnum and Mason's, which is just opposite.

The bagel counter is divine, as is their salad bar.

The Young Artist's Summer Show is open to children aged 4-18.

Now in its seventh year, the art is utterly incredible, super inspiring and above all, free! If you have little ones, check out the details for submitting for next year.
